Night Shooting with Flashlight

NIGHT SHOOTING

Shorts/Longs 4 – 6 hours 6 – 12 students

Tuition is $150 per student

Handgun 2 is a PREREQUISITE for this night shooting course. If you have taken another course somewhere or from someone else and feel it would fill the requirement of the PREREQUISITE, contact me with the details and I will let you know if that is ok or not.

Remember, for the live fire portion of any class, .22 rimfire handguns and or long guns are acceptable to use. This keeps the total cost of the class down as low as possible.

In this course you will put what you learned in Handgun 2 to use at NIGHT with YOUR gear using live ammo.

SKILLS

Review Defensive Flashlight techniques – Night Shooting
Introduce Offensive Flashlight techniques – Night Shooting

MINDSET

Review and Demonstrate Target Indicators and how that relates to Flashlights
Working Angles at night
Discuss when to Statically and when to Dynamically clear a room
Discuss the mindset of choosing a handgun vs a long gun: the pro’s and con’s of each

TACTICS

STATIC and DYNAMIC Maneuvering at night
Clearing a room at night
TEAM tactics and Communications at night

EQUIPMENT

Handgun (any type)
2 Magazines (minimum) or Speed Loaders (revolver)
Holster
2 Magazine pouches minimum, speed loader pouches. A dump pouch or pockets will work.
250 rounds of ammunition
Hearing Protection
Eye Protection
YOU MAY BRING A RIFLE/SHOTGUN IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED CARBINE 1
Sling
Magazines

50 rounds of rifle ammo/shotgun
